lyrics
Tie me up tie me down
Keep quiet inside
Do you
I bet you do
Like I require
Desire
Of someone new
Black lace, black tape
In case I need to confess
My body bears the weight
Of all my mistakes
You can bind my wrists
If it means you'll adore me
Bite finger tips
If it means you'll adore me
Your hands like ice
Slip inside, slip and slide
I'm blind and bound
Tie me up, tie me down
You can bind my wrists
If it means you'll adore me
Bite finger tips
If it means you'll adore me
If it means you'll adore me

This is absolute genius. Each song has its own unique mood, but what they all have in common is that they take their time, allowing the lush, patient, dazzlingly imaginative arrangements to gradually blossom. There are a dizzying variety of instrumental textures, pleasure and wonderment around every turn. I'm getting hints of Will Oldham circa "Arise Therefore," though that album is much more spare. Proof that "experimental" doesn't necessarily mean noisy. Joe Madden
